Come Tuesday. Decide after.
Our open meeting, free for anyone. Authors, podcasters and members of the recovery community share a story of hope, then the room shares back. No membership needed, camera off and just listening counts. You don't have to be a Swiftie and you don't have to be abstinent. Sober curious counts.

The room
What happens in the room.
The same rules every week, read aloud at the top so nobody has to guess.
- Any path, any substance, any stage. You don't have to be sober. Sober curious is enough.
- You don't have to be a Swiftie.
- Cameras optional. Listening counts as participation.
- You never have to introduce yourself as anything. No labels, no day count.
- One person shares, then we share back. One hour, start to finish.
- Supportive cross talk is welcome. This is a conversation, not a confession.
- What is shared here stays here.
- Peer support, not treatment. A crisis card opens every meeting.
The hour
How the hour goes.
First time?
Come as you are.
Show up from bed, from the car, from the kitchen. Keep your camera off the whole hour if that's what you need tonight.
Camera off is fine
A first name or a nickname is fine. You'll be greeted, not put on the spot.
Nothing to prepare
No reading, no workbook, no day count. Bring a drink, a snack and even something to do with your hands.
Leave when you need to
If it gets heavy, step out. Nobody follows up unless you ask them to.
Questions
People ask these first.
Is this a 12 step meeting?
No. It's peer support, founded and run by a Certified Peer Specialist. No steps, no sponsor, no readings. Some members also go to 12 step meetings and that's welcome.
Do I have to talk?
No. Listening counts. Many people come for weeks before they say anything.
Is it recorded?
The speaker's share is recorded for the members' replay vault only when the speaker agrees. The share back is never recorded.
What if I'm in crisis?
Swift Steps is not equipped for crisis intervention. Call or text 988, or the SAMHSA line at 1-800-662-4357. The card with those numbers is in the chat every week.
Can I bring a friend or a client?
Yes. It's open to everyone, every week. Providers can read more on the providers page.
