BACKSTAGE is The Sober Curator's brand-new members-only culture club, built on three event pillars: Media Nights for the shows, albums, and movies everyone's talking about (with live author and creator Q&As), Studio Nights for hands-on painting, crafts, and digital art, and Edutainment Nights for expert-led deep dives that never feel like homework. Every event is virtual, so members join from anywhere in the world.

What exactly is BACKSTAGE?
BACKSTAGE is The Sober Curator's members-only Sober Culture Club — a culture club where everybody happens to be sober, not another recovery meeting. Media Nights, Studio Nights, and Edutainment Nights, all virtual, all international, open to every sober pathway (allies included). It pairs perfectly with Swift Steps®: we're your recovery home base, BACKSTAGE is where sober life gets fun.
I'm already a paying Swift Steps® member. Do I get this?
Yes! This perk is for all current paying members, not just new ones. Watch your inbox for your private registration link, or reach out to us at info@swiftsteps.org.
I'm still in my complimentary first month. When do I get my invite?
Your private registration link arrives by email when your first $33.33 payment goes through at the end of your free month. Think of it as a little welcome gift for making it official.
How do I claim my free BACKSTAGE membership?
Click the private registration link in your member email and sign up — no code needed, your membership registers as complimentary. The link is exclusive to paying Swift Steps® members, so please don't share it outside the community.
How long does the free BACKSTAGE membership last?
For the life of your Swift Steps® membership. As long as your membership stays active and in good standing, your BACKSTAGE membership stays free.
What happens if I cancel my Swift Steps® membership?
Your free BACKSTAGE membership ends when your Swift Steps® membership does. If you'd like to keep it going, you can subscribe with The Sober Curator directly.
Do I need to be sober to join Swift Steps®?
No. All pathways are welcome — harm reduction, maintenance medications, sober-curious, long-term recovery, and everything in between. You just need to show up: messy bun, quiet camera, whatever you've got that day.
